INFORMATION SYMBOLS: The map includes information symbols which show facilities such as shops, chemists, post offices, cafes, bars and restaurants, bus stops and tube / train stations etc. If you want to add symbols to the map click on the appropriate symbol on the right of the map. To remove the symbols from the map then simply click the appropriate symbol on the right of the map again. Hover above each symbol to see a description of what the symbol represents appear below. By clicking ON/OFF above the symbols you can turn all the symbols off or on at once.
LOCATION DETAILS: If you place your curser over the symbols on the map (e.g. café, chemist etc) information on that facility will be displayed in a hover box. Click on the symbol and further information on the facility will be displayed in a pop up box.
TRAVEL ROUTES AND CAR PARKING: You can click on the symbols on the right hand side of the map to see information about walking, cycling and car parking. More information on the walking routes will appear when you click on the numbers along the route. Car parking symbols will only be available at close zoom levels, these symbols are greyed out when not available. By clicking ON/OFF above the symbols you can turn all the symbols off or on at once (again car parking will only show at close zoom levels).
FIND A LOCATION: To search for a company in Camberwell (only the within symbol categories) click on the drop down menu, select the type of service then select the name you want from the drop down menu and it will be displayed on the map with a pop up information box.
KEY: The key provides information on those symbols that appear permanently on the map. This can be opened by clicking on the key button, and closed by clicking on the x in the right hand corner of the pop up box.
PRINT: Use the print button to print the map selection.
ZOOM LEVEL - Click on the right hand symbol to zoom in and the left hand symbol to zoom out (zoom function is on the right of the map).
PAN/MOVE AROUND THE MAP: By clicking and holding on any of the arrows the map will move in the relevant direction.
